  1. I thought this work was an interesting look at a non-western/European artist who is picking up steam in the art world. His paintings are aesthetically beautiful, and the fact that each piece carries a story held within it is an interesting idea.

  2. It is very interesting to see aboriginal artists be placed in the very harsh reality of the art world. The paintings are beautiful and are similar to Western abstraction, as the article states. I am glad the article acknowledges that these paintings are based in tradition and storytelling, and that we will not be able to appreciate the true meaning of these works.
