  1. “The End is Here,” I think appropriately describes the sense of this exhibition of Jim Shaw at the New Museum. Ken Johnson in his New York Times review describes it as “a kaleidoscope of giddy delirium.” Peter Schjeldahl seems overwhelmed by the amount of satirical narratives present within the show. From looking at an installation from the exhibition, cut outs that are reminiscent of a theater set placed in front of a large backdrop, I can see how you can become lost in the large realm of content that is going on in Shaw’s pieces.
