I really enjoyed seeing this exhibition. It was great to be exposed to a lot of artists I was unfamiliar with, and see more work from the few names that I did recognize. It is interesting to look at it from this other perspective of just filling gaps in the museums collection.
MoMA is always proving themselves with fantastic exhibitions. Over winter break I will be attending this specific show. I am curious to see how they connected Latin America and Eastern Europe together. You would assume they would be completely different styles, but both areas are focused on political statements of the time.
