  1. I love site specific installation works. Especially when it involves the local community! We have read and discussed about the Turner Prize in class. Sometimes the nominees for the Turner Prize are quite eccentric.

  2. It is noteworthy that this is only the second time a group of people have one the Turner prize. It is also important to reconigize that the project leaves a significant social impact by involving the community in ways they can benefit for years and years to come. I think its important that they won the prize because it helps to show the masses how important and necessary it is to revamp existing structures while simultaneously improving the community/city. Detroiters would benefit from artist and people with this mentality.
